I genuinely love this strange world of wedding photography and getting to meet so many different couples makes this job the best in the world. Who wouldn’t want to spend their time amongst people having the happiest day of their lives?
My Wedding Photography Style
While choosing a venue or décor are huge decisions that determine how you’ll experience your wedding day, picking out a photographer makes a major impact on how you look back on your nuptials for years to come. And even if you might think anyone with a camera can capture your wedding day, shooting a wedding is an art that takes plenty of skill, stamina, creativity, and experience. You should invest in a photographer that is not only talented, but has a photographic style that you prefer.
The role of the photographer whether traditional or more photojournalistic is to go into a wedding with a vision and direction, but also be open to the wonderfully unexpected moments that happen at every wedding.
If I had to describe my photography style, it would lean more to the traditional style this does not mean old fashioned this just means that you are employing me to help direct you with poses and help set up your family, friends and guests photographs, which has always been the role of a professional wedding photographer. Obviously as your day unfolds there are moments where there is no need to direct the bridal or groom and this would be when I shoot a more relaxed unobtrusive photojournalistic style.

A pre-wedding consultation to get to know each other and your requirements
Fully edited images 800-1400 with full print release.
An online gallery with all your images to share with your friends and family.
All edited images can be downloaded in Hi-res and also sized for social media.

Engagement photo shoot out side on location or in the studio (one printed 10x8 photo included)
A second photographer for capturing the grooms preparations and additional photos after the ceremony.
Wedding Package Pricing
UK registrar office. One photographer (me), engagement photo shoot not included. Prices starts at £680.
Wedding ceremony in the UK. One photographer (me), engagement photo shoot not included. Prices starts at £1260.
Pricing Notes

Engagement photo shoot prices can vary depending on if the photo shoot is in the studio or on location. Prices starts at £140 for a one hour photo shoot on location.

Please take some time to read through this page. As discussed with you recently I would like to offer you my top package but reduce the price from £1400 to £880, this package would include one photographer for the full coverage of the entire wedding day plus an engagement photo shoot to run through some poses with you both before the big day. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SHOOTING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?
I have been photographing weddings for over 14 years and have seen it all! I know how to capture all the special moments that make your wedding day unique.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
Whilst I don’t put a limit on what you will receive, it seems on average I delivery between 800-1400 images from a wedding. These are the best images that tell the story and really showcase your day.
HOW LONG DO YOU STAY?
I’m all about capturing as much of your story as possible. I will get to you as early as you want me in the morning and I stay until I have what I need. There are no time limits and I’m often found on the dance floor at the end of the day.
WILL YOU HELP US POSE FOR THE PHOTOS?
To get the best out of your day I will help you pose for the photos. I want natural smiles and don’t want anything to feel or look forced. Once we get to the couples shots I promise I will make this feel easy and relaxed.
CAN WE HAVE GROUP SHOTS?
100% yes. I don’t show them on my website much as these are personal pictures that mean something to the people at that wedding only however, I do take them. You have probably been to weddings before where this takes so long. I like to be quick to avoid you standing in a line when you could be mingling with a drink in your hand. If you give me a list before the day I will get them shot.
CAN I BUY PRINTS?

TRADITIONAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
The wedding style you may be most familiar with is a traditional look focused on staged portraits with the couple and family, capturing key snaps from the ceremony and reception, and curating a clear picture of the day. Those with a checklist of key shots to be captured may opt for this style and can expect a more structured and posed photo session, ensuring all crucial moments are captured meticulously. Traditional wedding photography offers a classic and timeless approach to your photographs. I have added some of my sample images below.
PHOTOJOURNALISM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Photojournalism is where the photographer does not interject any direction into certain aspects of the day. I have added some of my sample images below.
